HOCKEY IN WELLINGTON.

Owing to the introduction of the Saturday half-holiday the Mid-week Hockev Association played its final game 'to-day. The association has been in existence for ten years. Most of its players are now throwing in their lot with the Saturday Association by entering two teams in the junior competition, while others are individually joining Saturday clubs. Petonc has won the mid-week cup for the fifth year.
