EMPIRE DAY.
Unitbd Pbbbi Asboouiiok. London, May 25. There were a few formal Empire Day celebrations in England, chiefly at the schools. Many leaders of the movement were engaged in other national services. Capetown, May 25. Victoria Day was celebrated throughout South Africa. There were large children's functions, numerous remarkable demonstrations of loyalty, and many miiltary parades.
