ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
RAILWAY FATALITY. Tek Pkess Ab.soctation. Auckland, May .22. William Homy McAuliffe, hairdrosser, wlio was knocked down by a train on Marcli 10, died in the hospital yesterday, From a fractured skull. KILLED BY A CYCLIST. Dunedin, May 22. A man who' was fatally injured through being knocked down by a cyclist yesterday lias been identified as John Barnes (67), gardener. An inquest was opened this morning, and adjourned. The medical evidence stated that death was due to fracture of the base of the skull.
