Applications for space art' being made from outside linns by every mail, nor are the local tradespeople backward in this respect. Entries for all classes are already being received, although the time of closing is not until ■Saturday, 20 th inst. There are some splendid trophies oll'eerd for competition this year, especially the one Messrs Dimock and Co. for the exhibitor scoring the most points at the show. This trophy is open to all exhibitors, including the poultry section. There will be several rallies at the show by permission of the Minister of Internal Adairs, and in this way, the Society intend to dispose of three gold nugegts valued at Cdd, CIO. and Co, and also a military hand pointed quilt, which "ill have the names of all the leading military men of the day, worked upon it, as well as the boys now in the Dardanelles. Schedules may be had on application to the secretary, Jsox 10, .New Plymouth.
