Boon, has received the following letter from the Stratford Electrical Supply Co., Ltd:—ln pursuance of our deliberations with yourself in connection with heating the new municipal buildings with electric radiators, the Company desires to inform you that it is prepared to supply current to your Council lor radiators in this building at a flat rate of one and a-half (1 pi per unit with a ‘minimum payment of twenty pounds not L £2O) per annum. The current for the whole building to he paid for by tlie Borough (/rapid I to the ( ompany monthly as per main meter readings. .For the Council’s assistance in collecting the 1 payment lor heating, check" meters will he put in by my company for the various tenants as and when required. In junking these heating concessions to your Council, the company is made to understand that first, at least about 40 radiators will he installed, and, second, the Council will not make any greater charge for current to their tenants than is paid to the Company per unit.
