STRATFORD HOCKEY CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Stratford .Men's Hockey Club was held last evening, there being present: Messrs li. Curtis (chairman), C. Bennett, H. Chadwiek, C. Foden, F. Oxley, and W. lioyler, The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr J. B. Hine, .M.l'.: President, .Mr P. Thomson; Vice-Presidents, Madame Bernard, .Messrs E. S. Rutherfurd, (I. N. Curtis. C. Jackson, H. K. Abraham; secretary and treasurer, C. Bennett; captain, L. Curtis; committeo: \V. Syinoiis, 11. Chadwiek, l<\ Oxley, Reeves, JC li. Anderson, A. Thompson. The following new members were nominated .-—Messrs C. Bennett, Reeves, McAloon, Hunter, Sullivan, Kelleher. It was decided that the subscription be ss. Mr L. Curtis was chosen as delegate to the meeting of the Tarannki Association at Hawera. Tlie first practice of the season is to be held next Thursday afternoon. The following wore selected to form the selection committee: Messrs L, R. Curtis. R. H. Anderson, Oxley, Fodeu. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr L. JR. Curtis for services rendered during last year, to the office bearers of last year, to .Messrs Anderson, Kutherf'md and Macalister for the use of their office, and to the Press. The following is a list of the members at present at the front: Sergeant Wheeler, Privates Hancock, Law-: rence, Anderson, Jones and Spratt.
