ESTATE OF R. H. GAMERON.
A further meeting or creditors in the estate of Robert Hugh Cameron was liekl in the Deputy Official Assignee's office on Monday, 3rd hist., there being present: .Messrs J. Anderson, G. .Morrison, J. McAllister, \V. McDonald, J. -Masters. I?. 11. Robinson, and W. Brooking. Messrs R. •Jpence and J. R. L. Stanford appeared [or 1?. G. Brooking, and Mr E. S. Butherfurd for bankrupt. Mr Cameron, at a previous mooting,j had presented an account in which hoj ihowod that there was a slim of £2IMO ,»\ving to him by Mr Brooking. Mr' Brooking denied this, and the last meeting was adjourned to allow him to go into partnership accounts and give his statement as to how things! stand between him and Mr Cameron. Mr Brooking accordingly presented a statement, ill which he made Mr Cameron in his. debt to the extent of CI 120. The Deputy Official Assignee (Mr A. Coleman) explained at the meeting tliat owing to the lack of partnership hooks generally it was impossible to say which statement was correct, or ii ibhor wore correct. The books wore absolutely .incomplete and he was quite aire that even an investigation by a professional accountant would not clear the matters satisfactorily up. The creditors offered to transfer to Mi- Cameron the equities in his real estate at a figure given by them. Mr Cameron promised to acquaint the Deputy Official Assignee if he could see his «ay to avail himself of this offer or not.
