EX-PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT. United Pkesb Association. Paris, May 7. Lc Temps' American correspondent bad an interview with Mr Roosevelt, who said: "II I had been President, I would have protested against the violation of Belgium, and would have asked the United States to take its place with the Allies. Perhaps that would not, have prevented war, but even when the Germans were before Liege they would have had time to reflect."
