'APPEAL TO YOUNG AUSTRALIA. United Prkbb Association Sydney, May 7. Speaking at a service in memory of Colonel MacLaurin (killed at the Dardanelles) Rev. John Ferguson, referring to the heroism of the Australians at the Dardanelles, hopsd the young men of Australia would move as never before in joining the great campaign for liberty and honor and consider themselves educated to Christ's service in this holy war. REGISTRATION METHODS. (Received 9.20 a.m.) .Melbourne, May 8. Referring to the Premier (Hon. W. P. Massey's) Auckland speech, suggesting that men should register for service when required, Mr Pearce ; (Minister for Defence), replying to a question, said he thought there was no occasion to establish a similar register here, as the Xew Zealand attitude regarding more men was precisely our attitude since the beginning.
