LONDON WOOL SALES. United Phebb Association. (Received 12.15 p.m.) London, April 27. At the wool sales 12,556 bales wore offered, being a. representative selection including 3723 bales of New Zealand. There was a good attendance. but a quiet tone, and little buoyancy. Americans being absent. Best merinos were fairly maintained; average sorts 5 to 7| per cent, below la.st closing price. Crosshreds were a halfpenny to a penny below the fifth series. The June 29th list closes on the 7th, or when 200,000 bales have arrived. .. ._. ,
