AMUSEMENTS.
H.M, THEATRE. A high class programme is promised patrons this evening at the above Theatre. The feature play is entitled “The Express Messenger,” a thrilling Kalem drama, the story of an ordinary express boy who captures a gang of jewel robbers. A new topical, “The Eclair Journal,” depicts scenes around Ypres—a big bridge destroyed to check the German advance—scenes in a shrapnel-protected trench—the ruins of Ypres—captured derman trophies—the Bishop of Malines as lied Cross helper—more Gorman prisoners—the terior of the Huns—a German shell that would not burst. “Steps Race with Death” is a grand dramateie canine story. The Keystone comedian at some funny work in “Lover’s Luck.” The Edison Co’s, drama, “A Matter of Minutes,” is a very sensational subject. Two good comedies are “Jenks and the Barber,” and “A Train of Accidents.”
