REITERATION.
[io Ihe Editor Stratford Post.] Sir, — My reference to your leading article concerning municipal affairs was simply intended to direct attention to an obvious error committed Inone who apparently was not familiar with the events of borough business. The effect of siidi error being an inclination to lead readers to an erroneous conclusion and a consequent injustice to members of the retiring Council. In addition to Mr Masters, there arc lour other members ol the retiring Council who were not on the Council when the i, - 10,0110 loan proposals were submitted to ratepayers'. 1 It surprises me that you consider 'he same a great discovery and I < mink you for tin* compliment, which must, i fear, he shared with Mr -Masters. If this discussion should continue, MiEditor, I hope our mutual efforts will prevent it becoming acrimonious.- 1 am, etc., J. B. RICHARDS. Stratford, 2fith April, 1915. (Ex-Cr. Richards (to ho quite exact) is surely out to he funny these dull times. What “discussion” does ho refer io? Merely reiterating his statement of Saturday last is not “discussion.” And why should he even suggest acrimoniousnoss ? Perhaps Mr Richards will further favour us. -Ed. “Stratford Post.”)
