BOWLING.
A very pleasant day was spent on the Stratford Bowling Club's green yesterday, when three rinks from New Plymouth and four from Hawera paid a visit, Towards the end of the afternoon there was a very full green. In addition to the New Plymouth and Hawera players, a rink came from Eltham, but no scores were taken ol their play.
