AUSTRIANS’ STUBBORN FIGHTING United Phebs Association. (Received 10 a.m.) Petrograd. April 21. A communique states; Austrians made a particularly stubborn attack on the Polen height, near Rostock, and suffered very heavy losses, five hundred being taken prisoners. Bombs dropped at Belostok killed and wounded several civilians but the damage was small. Wc success!ally bombarded Soldau station. OPERATIONS IN GALICIA. Petrograd, April 21. Official: The enemy in the direction of Stryj gained a footing on the heights at Arawzik, hut wo counterattacked and recaptured the position, taking a number of prisoners. Official: The Russians have discovered General Kustanek’s secret order to the Przemysl garrison on February Bth to return all dum-dums to the depots. This was the outcome of General Solivanoff’s warning on the previous day to shoot all Austrians found with dum-dums.
