THE BELGIAN FUND. For some time past (writes our correspondent) a movement has been in progress to raise funds for assisting the Belgians, and a strong committee has been formed for the purpose ol working up a concert and dance in aid of the Belgian fund, to take place on the 22nd inst. Present indications point to the effort proving a success. An extensive and interesting pro'gramme lias been drawn up. consisting j of songs, recitations, and fancy danc!jng A considerable number of the leading performers ol Stratfoid bate !volunteered to contribute items to the (programme. Given a fine night, the promoters hope to raise a considerable 'sum. On a former occasion something 'over 23 was contributed to Ibe Patrioj tic Fund bv local eftori, and on the present occasion it is hoped to do bet!tor still. Alr« Hogg, of .Midhirst, has rendered valuable assistance in piocuring help from Stratford li lends. 11 the Weather Bureau will only remain in a good mood for a few days more, we shall all he extremely gratified. i
