BOY BURNED TO DEATH.

LiTTLE CHAP RESCUED BUT RETURNS TO HIS DEATH. Pek Pbess Association. Christehurch, April 19. A fatal lire occurred at Woolston on Saturday night, when a five-roomed house occupied by Thos. Jago was burned to the ground. .Jago removed his son a boy of three years of age, from the building just after the lire started, and then returned to the house arid fetched out his grandson, a boy of eight. Subsequently the younger boy was missed, and later his charred remains were found in the debris. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest.
