The Neutrals.

Norway and Sweden.

FAVOURABLE TO ALLIES. NORWEGIAN ARMY AND NAVY MOBILISED. Unithd Prisb Absolution. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Fremantle, April 15. A prominent Norwegian who arrived by the Omrah states that the Norwegians hope that the Allies will be victorious, as they recognise that a German victory would mean an ultimate absorption of Scandinavia. Feeling runs high against Germany's wanton use of mines and sinking neutral ships. Norway's navy and army were already mobilised in anticipation of participation in order to retain her self-respect. Sweden was previously pro-German, but has undergone a change, the majority of people now being in favor of the Allies.
