FIXED PRICE OF LAMBS, I’jju PiiEsa Association. Christchurch, April 12. At a conference hold on Friday, hetween those interested in the frozen meet export trade and the iion. Air Massey, it was decided that a committee he appointed to lix the price per pound over all the meat in the works. The committee met on Saturday and agreed that the over-all price to bo paid by the export buyers to the producers for iambs will bo continued at G£d and (dpi per lb until April 30 inclusive, and that the price be U Ll-lUd and (1 odod thereafter until Alay .‘it, such prices to apply to ail lambs delivered at the freezing-works on or before such dates. The arrangements will he subject to revision after the end of Alay.
