At Kohuratahi on Wednesday, 7th inst., I had a good yarding ol both sheep and cattle. Sheep met with very keen competition, all lots being sold at prices very satisfactory to the vendors. MATTHEWS, GAfvIUN AND CO.’S REPORT. Messrs Matthews, Hamlin and Co. report a good yarding of stock in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last. Forward and fat stock .sold freely, hut poorer cows were dull and yearling heifers were practically unsaleable. We quote: Fat cows £G lUs to £7 2s, forward do. £1 17s (id to '£s os, store do. £3 3s to £3 lbs, woaner steers 30s to 37s (id, old ewes 9s 9d to 9s lid, lambs 11s Gd.
