GRAND VSZIER'S VIEWS.

TURKEY'S FIGHTING CHANGE

FOR HER OWN SAKE. Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8 a.m.) London, April 7. The New York Associated Press publishes an account of an interview with the Grand Vizier, which is the first that has ever been given. The interview states, that the Grand Vizier said he rejected the Entente's "tier to guarantee Turkish integrity for thirty years, because it would be detrimental to the Turkish sovereignty. His experience of promises to the Powers sbowed that they do not promote confidence. Entering into relations with England, France and Russia had been a factor harmful to the country's interest hitherto. Turkey had been a pawn in European politics, but she had tired of that, and now she is fighting for a chance to exist for her own sake. The claim that she was bound to pass under- tin- sway of Germany was absurd.
