PROFESSOR CLEMENT WRACCE.
Readers are reminded that Professor Wragge, the well-known scientist, will deliver his final lecture in the Foresters’ Hall, Stratford, to-uight. The Professor lias a fine collection of slides by which he illustrates lecture; they are the finest in existence, and are alone worth seeing. To-night the Professor will also give his famous forecaste of coming f-ta-sons from the present tone right up to 1 010, and the information given will bo of the utmost importance to farmers and agriculturalists, whose prosperity depends so much on the seasons. The Professor will also give a lice display of marvellous radium, the spt ei nous used in t lie experiments are truly exquisite. This is the Professor’s fi,nal visit to Stratford, so there should be a large house present this evening to welcome him.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. An appreciative audience witnessed the screening of the new programme last night. One of the chief attractions was a picture of the German Heet hiding in the Kiel at the present time, and it also shows some of the British boys who discovered them. “Shortey’s Trip to Mexico” is a thrilling, but sometimes humorous picture of the late Mexican war. “With the British Forces in France” shows big guns of the latest type being transported to the front and many-other scenes of interest. 1 Other pictures on the programme are “The Poor Relation” (drama), “The Bridegroom’s Dilemma” (comedy), “Words Claim” (drama). To-morrow night (Good Friday) special pictures will be screened at 8.30 sharp, a big feature film being “The Passion and Death of Christ,” a beautiful color subject by Pathe.
