MARITZ ESCAPES TO CENTRAL AFRICA. ' United Press Association. (Received 8.45 a.m.) Capetown, March 26. A German officer, who is a prisoner, declared that Maritz had escaped towards Central Africa, but the Germans longed to seize him.
