HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "Our First Line of Defence," which was screened last night ? is a firstclass naval picture, showing to full advantage England's vast fleet of ironclads, and also shows the battleships of France at close view. "Pathe's War Gazette," contains some splendid scenes of the war. The star drama, "From the Land of Shadows," is a grand story of a scientist and prehistoric times. "The Kiss" is a splendid portrayal of the New York Shop Girl. There are besides, "The Aquarium at Grimalde," and also two good comics. On Monday night, Charles Chaplin will star in a humorous comedy "The New Janitor," coupled with a Thanhouser drama "The Guiding Hand." ;./

PROFESSOR CLEMENT WRACCE.

The residents of this town and neighbourhood wiU have a real treat next Thursday evening at the Foresters' Hall, Stratford, when Professor Wragge, the well-known scientist, will 'give a grand scientific entertainment dealing with the Eternal Universe, the Marvels of Other World's than Ours, coming seasons, and radium. A special exhibition 'of marvellous radium, costing at the rate of £16,000,000' per lb will be given, when wonderful experiments will be performed. The specimens are exquisite and are a treat for the. eye to witness. The views and photographs used in the illustration of his lecture are magnificent, being the finest in existence, and are the very latest and hest procurable from the great observatory of the world. During his lecture, the • Professor will particularly deal with the season. He will give forecasts of coming seasons from the pi-esenfc time* and right up to 1930, and the information that will be given will be of the utmost importance to farmers and agriculturalists, whose prosperity depends so much on the seasons. This is the Professor's final .visit to Stratford, so none should miss hearing him at the Foresters' Hall.
