NEW ZEALAND RECORD WOOL SALE. Per Press Association. Wellington, March 24. To-day the last sale of the season was held, when about 2100 bales were offered. There was a good attendance of buyers, and competition was keen [for everything offered. Prices were exceptionally high for all (rood fleece wool, the top price of the sale' being 17i}d for a line of sixteen hales of flue Romney, in very light condition. This wool was sold on account of Messrs Condon Bros., of Hokitika, and constitutes a record for New Zealand. Another line of Romney sold on account of Mr R. H. Knight, Longhurn, realised 17*d. Other prices were:— Crossbred super lod to Kkl. crossbred coarse 13d to fold, crossbred inferior and seedy lOd and 12-id, pieces and bellies Bid to 10id, lambs, medium lid t<, lid, lambs, inferior and seedy ,<cl to lid.
