FURIOUS FIGHTING IN THE LAST SORTIE. United Prkm Association. (Reccivecl/h a.m.) ' Petrograd, March 24. Official.—The thirty-ninth Honved Division renewed the attack. Absolutely intoxicated with success, they crossed wire entanglements despite immense losses and stormed Stashkowka Height with mad fury. The position thrice changed hands, but eventually the Honveds were driven off. The Russians were furious when they first lost the trenches, and gave no quarter in the hand-to-hand fighting, and pursued the enemy for a great distance, using their bayonet, and the butt-ends of their rifles.
