THE RAID ON PARIS. Paris, March 22. Two bombs fell in the city harmlessly, one in Hue de Times, and the other in line de Thon. A bomb struck and wrecked a factory at Caurbevos. A few workmen* inside escaped,' one being injured. The Zeppelins aimed at but missed shell works at Colombes, a Parisian suburb. Amsterdam, March 22. A German official message states that Zeppelins dropped heavy bombs on the forces at Paris and the Compaigne railway junction as a reply to the French aviators’ attack on Schlettstadt. New York, March 22. The newspapers, commenting on the raid on Paris, renew their protests against Germany’s atrocities and merciless methods of warfare.
ENEMY AIRMEN ON THE WING. (Received 8.45 a.m.) Paris, March 22. Guns drove off two Taubes at Nancy on Saturday, and also a Zeppelin at Fort Vert, north-east of Calais. ZEPPELIN DESTROYED AT LIEGE (Received 10.10 a.m.) London, March 21. The Central News reports that a Zeppelin was destroyed at Leige. It was supposed to be returning from the Paris raid. The aeroplane which bombed Zevenbergen, and also chased and bombed an English merchantman in the Downs, is missing.
