THE LATE BISHOP GRIMES.
REQUIEM MASS IN SYDNEY. United Press Association. .Sydney, .March 19. There was a hig gathering at Bishop Cl rimes’s requiem mass. Archbishop Cerretti presided. Archbishop Kelly delivered a panegyric, and eulogised the late Bishop Grimes’s great hospitality and wonderful energy, zeal and piety, describing him as a true model of priesthood. INTERNMENT AT CHRISTCHURCH Per Press Association. Wellington, March 19. The Cabinet has granted permission for the burial of Bishop Grimes in St. Paul’s Catholic Cathedral at Christchurch. The funeral will take place at 10 a.in. on Thursday next, preceded by a pontificial mass. There will not he any ceremony in Wellington during the transference of the coffin from the Sydney steamer to the Lyttelton boat on Tuesday.
