WOOL SALE AT DUNEDIN. Per Press (Association. Dunedin, March 16. A supplementary wool sale was held this afternoon, alien about 1500 bales, comprising late shorn clips and stragglers’ lots, were offered. There was a large attendance of buyers, including a good number from overseas, and competition was exceedingly keen. Prices for crossbred fleece were Id to 2pi per, lb above those ruling at the February sale, while merinos were also firm. Pieces, bellies and locks sold at about last sale rates, while crutchings were a half-penny to three-farth-ings dearer. A fair amount of slipo wool was offered and realised up to IS.‘d for crossbred and 20pl for lambs’. Following is the range of prices: Merinof super 12d to 14cl, medium to good lOd to Jl;Jd, inferior 9d to 1 (Jcl; halfbred, super 1-ld to 16d, medium to good 12;}d to l.'JJd, inferior lid to. ]2d; crossbred, super 14pl to 16.p1, medium to good 12. pl to Tl.pl, inferior IOPI to 12d; pieces, super, If 3d to 13;]d, medium to good Dpi to TJ .pl, inferior 7pl to 9(1: erutchings, Sd to I0.pl; locks, Id to 7pi.
