LONDON WOOL SALES. ■■t ’ ~ United Press Association. (Received 11.15 a.m.) c-v. London, March 16. At tlie wool sales 10,453 bales were offered, of which 3445 were New Zealand. It was a representative selection. There was a pood attendance, hut the general competition of the Americans was somewhat restricted owing to the inability to ship the last sale’s wools. Crossbreds were fully five per cent, above the last closing rates, hut best merinos were barely maintained; fnnlties were five per cent, cheaper, ami scon reds halfpenny to Id less.
