Wellington, March 13,
Justice Chapman sentenced Phyllis Fowler to three months imprisonment for concealing the dead body of a child at Hawera. Ellen Sullivan was sentenced to four mouths for stabbing her mother with a knife.
Arthur Charles Pearce was admitted to probation for theft at Wellington, conditionally on making - restitution. Philip George Bernard got 12 raon. ths for escaping from custody at Wanganui.
Dorothy Scoullar and Lesley Reid (the two young women charged with the theft of £l4l odd from a hotel, the money having all been recovered except about £18) were admitted to probation.
