■ The Press Association at Hawera reports: John James Kavanagh, [agedi 40, married, committed suicide 1 at Manaia this monxing by hanging.

The secretary of the Melanesian ipission has been advised of the death of the Rev. F. H. Drew, missionary on tho Solomon Island, states an Auckland Press Association wire. The cause is unknown. It Is 1 stated that he died on the way to the Maravovo hospital.
