Replying to a question in the House of Commons .as to whether arrangements could not be made to utilise services of the young men of the Dominions who are anxious to serve the Hon. L. V. Harcourt (Colonial Secretary) said all the Self-governing Dominions had ; put large forces in the field, and were maintaining them with ever-increasing strength, and the Government"-considered the arrangement for dealing with the available recruits had best be left to the Dominion Governments.
