T. LAMASONS WEEKLY REPORT

Last Saturday my usual weekly sale was held, when various lines of produce, poultry, fruit, etc., came forward and met with fairly keen competition. 1 quote as follows: Hens Is to Is fid, roosters Is to 2s, cockerels 9d to Is 6d, ducks Is 6d to 2s, geese 2s 6d to 3s, cauliflowers 2s 6d to 3s per doz., cabbage Is 6d to 2s, potatoes 6s to 7s per cwt., plums 2s 6d to 3s 6d, apples 2s to ss, peaches 3s to ss, tomatoes 3s to 6s, pears 2s to 7s (all according to quality and size of case). Furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.
