Dunedin, March 9

The Licensing Committee election for Dnnelin South took place today. Both Moderate and Temperance parties nominated a full ticket, and the election resulted in the return of four Moderates and one Temperance canlidate. The principal question at issue was conditional licenses for trotting and show grounds in the districts.

Nelson, March 9

At the Licensing Committee election four moderates and one no-license candidate were returnel.

Eltliam, March 10

The election yesterday excited little interest. The “Moderates” secured an easy victory.
