AN INSPIRED NOTE.

The Correspondenza at Rome prints an apparently inspired Note, stating that a momentous decision is approaching. and that the Government is determined to intervene to safeguard Italy’s position as a great power if questions are raised regarding the Dardanelles, which cannot be diplomatically settled.
SIGNIFICANT MOVEMENTS.
Rome, March 5
The Minister of War. in supporting a Bill in favor of the recall of reserve officers, said that all classes were seeking to enter the army. The Premier, is introducing a Bill to prevent espionage. It provides for the suppression of military news, with a double penalty if such news, with a double penalty if such news is supplied to a foreign country. Provision is made for the Government to take control of every industry connected with defences, including the aviation and wireless services.
