NECESSARY COMMODITIES. United Press Association. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, February 23. The Hon. Mr Hail says that if the Commission’s finding holds, the Necessary Commodities and other special'legislation relating to the war will have to go. Already, they had taken steps to secure the final appeal of the High Court.
THE LATEST BELGIAN APPEAL.

Melbourne, February 23
The Federal Premier (Mr Fisher) declines definitely to state whether he proposes to take action in regard to the latest Belgian appeal, hut it is understood he is considering' the submittal to Cabinet of a proposal by which the Commonwealth will render further assistance.
