The adjourned inquest on SergtMajor Scott, who shot himself on the river bank on Friday, a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. Mary Scott, of Dunedin, gave evidence that her son was depressed because he was not allowed to go with the reinforcements. Deceased leaves a widow,.and.,,t,hr§q children.
