THE MARSINA MISHAP.
PROSPECTS OF RE-FLOATING. United Press Association. (Received 9.5 a.m,),: Brisbane, February 15.
The Marsina lies in a good position for salvage, and it is expected the vessel will re-float. Tugs are assisting, and the passengers and mails have been landed.
The Burns Philp steamer Marsina, bound from Port Moresby (New Guinea) to Sydney, went ashore on J> reef, five miles south of Cooktown, on Thursday night. It is understood that she has some troops from New Guinea aboard.
