Rev. J. Pattison, of St. Andrews' takes up his pulpit duties ou Sunday, after a holiday of two weeks.
The Morrinwille Star has changed hands, .Air W. C. Cargill, late of Stratford, having purchased the paper from Mr G. P. Armstrong, late of Opunake.
Mr W. T. Jennings, M.P. for Taumarunui, was in Stratford to-day on business connected with his electorate. Mr Jennings will stay in town until tomorrow. This morning he spent a con. siderable time in consultation with the District Roads Engineer with regard to the Pomorangi Road (South Kawhia), the Mairangi Road, and certain bridges in country below Kohuratahi, and also with regard to settlers' road requirements in the Rerekino District.
