A DARLINGHURST TRAGEDY.

A tragedy occurred at Darlingluirst. Joseph Clayton-fatally shot Mrs Suffi. van, a boardinghouse-keeper, and then shot himself critically in the head. The cause is unknown. No one was present: Clayton previously lodged with Mrs Sullivan, hut left some weeks ago after disagreements. A CALL TO SPORTSMEN. >. . Sydney, February 11. A meeting of representatives of all sporting organisations resolved that steps be taken to impress on sportsmen their duty in immediately responding to the Empire's call and enlisting into active training.
