'Pile programme to bo submitted tonight at His Majesty’s is direct from Wellington scries,, and includes nine star feature films. The leading dramatic play, “The Angel of Contention,” is a most forceful story of love and life in a Western American mining camp in the days of ’49, adopted from Bret Harte’s realistic novel. “The Voice of Silence” is a thrilling Edison story. The .supporting films include “Ancient Rome,” “Heez-a-Liar’s African Adventures,” “How Fruit is Crystalised,” and a screaming comedy by Keystone, entitled “Laughing Gas.” “The War Gazette” is chockfull of the latest doings at the front. Saturday night the funniest fight on earth, with Keystone chaplain as referee in “Father’s Knock Out.”
