Sydney, February 9

Before the Commodities Commission poultry men complained that pollard supplied lately had been badly adulterated with offal, even including sand.

Country storekeepers complain that as the result of the Wheat Acquisition Act they cannot now obtain flour from local mills ( but must obtain it from Sydney and pay back freight. They also complain that country millers are permitted to export to New Zealand and Victoria where higher prices are obtainable. They contend that they are placed in an unfair position, and ask the Government to intervene to correct this apparent injustice.
