AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. A great assortment of Cinema plays of the finest kind will he screened next Thursday ami Friday night. The star drama is from Bret Harte’s famous novel, “The Angel of Contention,” a wonderful story of the gold country of the west. The Keystone Co. have produced a splendid comedy entitled “Laughing Gas.” A very fine scenic is “Ancient Borne,” showing the ruins of the grand old Roman City. The Edison Company are well represented hy “The Voice of Silence.” “The Latest War (gazette” shows the latest happenings in Europe relative to the war. All war scenes are passed hy censorships and present nothing out of place. A clever comedy sketch hy a clever artist is “Col. Heez-a-Liar’s Adventures in Africa.” Other pictures are “How Emit is Crystalised” (educational), and “Innocent, but Awkward” (comedy).
