THE RAINFALL.
HAWKE’S BAY THUNDERSTORM. Per Press Association. Hastings, February 2. A very heavy thunderstorm this evening supplied sufficient rain to relieve the anxiety of farmers for a few lays, 0.38 inches falling in loss than ui hour. In the country districts the rainfall is reported to have heou much heavier, accompanied by hail.
