CHANGES OF CLERGY.
There have been several changes amongst the clergy of the Catholic Arch.diocese of Wellington. These are as follows: At St. Mary’s, Greenmeadows, Very Rev. Dr. Martin is appointed Superior, replacing the Very Rev. Dean Smyth, who is,now S.M. Provincial. The Rev. Father Tymons (Thorndon) has been appointed Vice-Sup-erior and Procurator, replacing the Rev. Father McDonnell, who takes charge of the Hastings parish. . Very Rev. Dean Regnault (ex-S.M. Provincial) replaces the Rev. Father Tymons ns administrator of the Thermion parish, having with him the Rev. Father Smith and the Rev. Father Seymour. The Rnv. Father Kimhell, of St. Patrick’s College professorial staff, is to join tho professorial staff at Green, meadows. The Very Rev. Father Keogh, of Hastings, will join the professorial staff at St. Patrick’s College, of which he was at one time Rector.
Tlie Rev. Father Ainsworth, of Nelson, is to be attached to the Marist Missionary Home at Temuka, and will he replaced at Nelson by the Rev. Father Tyrnons. The Rev. Father O’Connor, of Napier, will take np duty at St. Anne’s, Newtown, in place of the Rev. Father Herring, who has .been appointed assistant at Blenheim. The Rev. Father A. Macdonald, of Blenheim, has been transferred to Waimate, and the Rev. Father Dignan, of Waimate, has been appointed assistant at Napier. i The Rev. Father Hickson, formerly Administrator of the Thorndon parish, goes to St. Mary’s parish, Christchurch, as assistant to the Very Rev. Dean Hills, V. 0., and the Rev. Father Burger, of St. Mary’s, Christchurch, is to be attached to the teaching staff of St. Bede’s Collegiate School. I The Rev. Fathers O’Farrell and O’Leary have been appointed to the 'professorial staff of St. Patrick’s College.
