The Tokomaru, which left Wellington on December Bth, was a full ship. The last advice reveived by the Company was that the Tokomaru had left Teneriffe on 23rd January. At that port she was to receive instructions from London as to whether she was to call at Bordeaux to land portion of her cargo for the Continent, The vessel carried no gifts from Wellington save blankets and a quailtity of carcases of frozen meat. It is doubtful if the general Xmas gifts were sent by the Tokomaru, and it is believed they were forwarded by the Kakaia.
AUCKLAND GIFTS NOT ON BOARD Auckland, February 1. None of the Auckland Belgian gifts were on the Tokornaru. They were distributed among nine other steamers leaving at a later date.
