THE SWIMMING CLUB.
THE ANNUAL MEETING. ■At the annual meeting of the Stratford Swlriiitiing Club held last night there were present Messrs A. 11. Masters, C. Bennett; P. Beauchamp C. M. Kivell, It. Foden, C. Smith, T. O'Neill, H. Areada. Apologies for absence 'were received from His Worship the Mayor (Mr W. P. Kirkwood), ad'Messrs C. E. 1 Whittington and N. Templar.
In the'absence of'the president (Mr Kirkwood), Mr A. P. Masters was voted to the chair.
The report (already published in the Post) was read, and with the balance sheet showing that the year was one of the most successful in the Club's- history, was adopted. The follOAving officers were elected: Patron; <His Worship the Mayor (Mr W. P. Kirkwood), President, Mr Jonas Masters; (in addition to'those already holding office) Messrs thigh Good, J. G. Harkness, H. E. Abraham, McCluggage, P. Masters, Drs. Paget and Steven; Committee (with power to add), Messrs D. Malone, C. Kivell, J. Letter, L. Curtis, N. Templar, It. Foden, C. Smith, F. D. Oxley, B. Kivell, C. Potts, A. It. Masters. T. O'Neill; Secretary, C. Bennett ;< Treasurer, It. Foden; Auditor, C. Potts.
GENERAL. Tt wiis decided to write to Mr C. Potts thanking him for his services as auditor during last year. The relay team for Hawera will be selected from the following:—R. Foden, C. M. Kivell, A. R, Masters, L. Curtis, B. V. Kivell. The polo team will be C. M. Kivell, F, D. Oxley, J. Lester. A. R. Masters, B. A r . Kivell; emergency,. Bennett. j
