The Takapuna Jockey Club's meeting was continued this : afternoon in fine weather. The Cup resulted:— Bedford 1, Phosphorous 2, Goldsize 3. All started. Bedford led most of the distance and won by three lengths. Time, 2mh> 30 4-ssec. —P.A. Qinpuna won the Ferry Handicap, with■' Coleraine second and .Glucian third, ' ■ The Hobart Cup resulted :—Defence 1. Cherous Faith 2, Miss Fort 3. There wore twelve starters. Won by half a length, two lengths separating the second and third horses. Time, 2 min 40sec,
