The newspaper Roumania, at Bucharest, states: "Mr Asquith's declaration that Britain lias undertaken the war on behalf of the honor and independence of the small States has found an echo in Roumania, which knows that this is a moment not for words, but for deeds. Roumania will esteem it a great honor to fight for national unity beside Britain." NOT READY BEFORE MARCH. I NITID PbIII AISOOIATIOH. Copenhagen, January 28. German advices from Sofia state that Roumania has informed Bulgaria that her military preparations are not directed at the latter, and th'at Roumania will not he ready for war hefore March. ATTACK ON SERVIA. ANXIETY AS TO THE CONSEQUENCES TO ROUMANIA. Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8 a.m.) London, January 28. Bucharest anxiously notes the magnitude and completeness of the equipment of the Austro-German forces who are preparing to invade Servia. These include 200,000 Germans and some of the hest Hungarians. There is no douht that the Servians will make a heroic resistance hut anxiety is felt as to the consequences to Roumania in the event of Servia being compelled to yield to supreme ntlmbers.
