THE HODEIDAH INCIDENT. TURKEY'S PROMISE UNFULFILLED. United Press Association. (Received 0.20 a.m.) Paiis, January 28. The Echo do Paris states that Turkey lias failed to settle the Hodoidali incident according to promise, and Italy now threatens to take action.
(The British Consul took refuge in the Italian Consulate at Hodeida. Tho Turks forcibly entered and arrested him. January 16th was the date originally fixed by the Italian Government as the- time-limit for Turkey to apologise for the incident.) ITALIANS CLAMORING FOR WAR Timeb and Sydney Sun Bbrvioub. London, January 28. .fudge Coyne, an American, who has arrived at Paris from Rome, states that the whole of Italy is clamouring for war, and the Government is only awaiting a favorable moment to enter into concert with the Allies.
